Jenette Colvin, Office Manager

Jenette has dedicated most of her career to C.O.R.E. as a front office administrator and office manager. She is knowledgeable on all elements of the practice, as well as kind, trustworthy, and attentive. Jenette takes great pride in representing C.O.R.E. and strives to make each patient’s experience comfortable and informative. Jenette graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts and is also a BLS Instructor certified through the American Heart Association.

Jenette is married and a proud mother to three children. She enjoys reading, scrapbooking, and, above all, spending time with her family.

Weslie Lewis, Lead Surgical Assistant

With extensive experience in oral surgery, Weslie is passionate about assisting with surgeries and helping patients achieve their desired oral health results.  The greatest joy for Weslie is to see a patient improve his or her quality of life through oral surgery.  Weslie is licensed as a Certified Oral Surgery Assistant (COMSA), has completed her dental assisting training, and will be eligible to sit for the Registered Dental Assistant exam and licensure.

When not at work, Weslie enjoys hiking and outdoor activities with her husband and daughter.

Francisca Garcia, Treatment Coordinator & Surgical Assistant

Francisca has been in the dental and oral surgery community for many years, and her extensive experience in the field enhances patient care. Francisca is licensed as both a Registered Dental Assistant and Dental Surgical Assistant, and in continuing with her dedication to best serve our patients, also completed her certification as an Oral Surgery Assistant. Her hard work, attention to detail, and calm demeanor allow patients to feel at ease and comfortable. She is also bilingual and speaks fluent Spanish.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time at the Disney theme parks and going to the beach. She is an avid reader and loves exploring new cooking recipes.

Mekena Atkinson, Treatment Coordinator & Surgical Assistant

Mekena is cross-trained as one of our surgical assistants as well as a treatment coordinator.  Her nurturing personality towards patient care is evident in her work ethic.  She ensures our patients receive a full caring experience from the minute they come in and through their entire treatment.  On the weekends and outside of work, you can find her trying new restaurants and hanging with family.

Koia Atkinson, Front Office, Scheduling Coordinator

Koia is our Scheduling Coordinator and she is responsible for managing all aspects of the practice’s schedule. Her organizational skills are keen and she provides administrative support to the team. Attentive & diligent Koia excels in ensuring our patients receive a comprehensive understanding of their goals and care. With a hunger for knowledge in the dental field, she has completed her certification in Dental Assisting while seeking to progress in the office. 

Out of the office you can find her reading a recent book recommendation, planning dinner events, and spending quality time with her family whom she cherishes.

Bao-Anh Nguyen, RN & Insurance Coordinator

Bao-Anh is our insurance and billing coordinator and a great resource to patients with billing and insurance concerns. She has over 15 years in the dental field. She is a registered nurse at Hoag Hospital caring for patients on the medical surgical floor.

Bao-Anh enjoys outdoor activities and Muay Thai.
